Professor Stefan Sing

Combining Ball Juggling with Contact Improv dancing, Professor Stefan Sing, has been the Ministry’s favorite ball juggler for a couple of years now.
He is pictured above teaching one of his legendary workshops at EJC 2006 – one day in your life, attend one of these workshops, even if you’re not a juggler.
If we could award honorary qualifications, then we would give Stefan Sing an Honorary Professor of Juggling and Manipulation.
Stefan is a pop-up flash site, with navigation that takes a bit of poking around to find stuff, we love the slick graphics.

On his site there are 2 videos, check out june 2006 training – this is amazing juggling, although to be honest, for me this isn’t representative of Professor Sing – I don’t think I’ve ever seen him stand so still!

You will also find some great footage of him on the highly recommended EJC 2006 DVD, Thursday night open stage performance.
I hope we didn’t make anyone blush too much.

  1. šŸ˜† I don’t know what you’re talking about.
    (after a quick edit)
yeah yeah. Hank has already been to EjC2007 and 08, he can time travel you know, and he says those workshops are/were/will be legendary šŸ˜€

  2. Watching those videos again tonight and am reminded why he is the greatest juggler I’ve seen. Stefan reminds me that the real beauty of juggling is the spontaneous ability to direct the movement of the balls. It is a dance and an exploration and thats what makes it something special. I am amazed by the tricks that he manages to do. I am awestruck and dumbfounded and endlessly inspired by the tricks he fails to do.
